The Fame Game is an Indian mystery drama made by Sri Rao. This family thriller show premiered its first episode on Netflix on February 25, 2022. Bejoy Nambiar and Karishma Kohli directed this series. The series got certification on 16+ on Netflix.
The show revolves around a famous actress going AWOL while the Cops try to find her. Moreover, cops find many hidden mysteries in this renowned woman’s life.

However, this show became quite popular on Netflix when it was released, especially in India, as it was in the Top 10 on Netflix. But, it got quite a low rating regardless of its popularity among local viewers.
The show was renewed in August 2022, but since then, it has continuously been delayed. But in May 2023, the makers have announced that it will soon begin shooting. The show’s lead characters, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor, started filming, but Netflix unfortunately called off the show.

Sadly, there will be a bit more delay in the show’s renewal season 2. There is no confirmation yet as to whether it will be renewed or not.
