The Queen’s Gambit Season 2 Release Date
Netflix originally released the first part of the series on October 23, 2020. However, there is no official declaration of season 2. Despite this, fans estimate there should be a second series season.
The executive producer, William Horberg, said, “It’s wonderful to know that people loved the show where they want to spend more time with these characters; we never envisioned it that way.”
He added, “We felt that the series had a satisfying endpoint, and we’d allow the audience to fill in the space as to what happens next for Beth Harmon.”
According to a reliable source, The Queen’s Gambit season 2 should be released by the end of 2022. However, this has not yet happened, as the creators have already officially canceled the show.

Netflix hasn’t consented to the Queen’s Gambit Season 2 trailer yet. There is no ceremonial information given to the audience for season 2; however, season 2 is expected to be released at the end of 2022.
The Queen’s Gambit Season 2 Storyline
The series follows the story of an orphan girl named Beth Harmon. She has excellent visualization skills and later becomes an expert chess player with the help of her orphanage friend, Jolene.
After several years, she is adopted by a couple, Alma and Allston Wheatley. Alma opposes Beth’s interest in chess, but later, when Beth wins her first chess tournament, Alma fully subsidizes her daughter in the chess field.
Beth rises to the chess world’s peak and gains financial support for her victory. Later, she prepares for an international chess tournament against Moscow’s world’s best players.
The Queen’s Gambit Renewal Status
Recently, Netflix and many social media posts have claimed that The Queen’s Gambit is returning. The news for the return of season 2 is going viral, but sadly, that’s false news.
Further, the creators have finally said they are not looking forward to returning the show. So, in short, the show creators officially canceled the show.
