Our Kind Of People is an American show created by Karin Gist and Wendy Calhoun. Although the series is only 12 episodes long, only a single season was released, debuting on September 21, 2021. The series is inspired by a novel titled the same name.

The series commences as Angela Vaughn and her family get thrown into the world of elites. Angela finds out a secret about her mom, which turns her whole world upside-down and has a lasting impact on the community of the black elites as well.
