MIKE FARRELL (Producer) has had remarkable success on both sides of the camera and is best known for his role as B. J. Hunnicutt in the legendary television series M*A*S*H. He earned directing and writing credits during his eight years on the show, winning Emmy and Directors Guild Award nominations along the way.
Before the show ended its long run, Farrell made his debut as a producer with Memorial Day, a CBS drama about Vietnam veterans in which he also starred, and Citizen: The Poliical Life of Allard K. Lowenstein, a documentary which aired on PBS.
During his eight years on M*A*S*H, Farrell also starred in the television movies Sex and the Single Parent with Susan St. James and Prime Suspect with Teri Garr. He has since been seen in the telefilms Private Sessions with Maureen Stapleton and Kelly McGillis, Choices of the Heart, Vanishing Act with Margot Kidder and Elliot Gould, A Deadly Silence, Incident at Dark River, The Whereabouts of Jenny, Vows of Seduction, and others.
He realized a long held goal with his highly acclaimed portrayal of President John F. Kennedy in the PBS David Susskind production of JFK: A One Man Show and another with the successful national tour of the one-man play Clarence Darrow.
With his partner at Farrell/Minoff Productions, he has produced the feature Dominick and Eugene, starring Tom Hulce, Ray Liotta and Jamie Lee Curtis, and television films such as Run Till You Fall (which he directed); Incident at Dark River, with Helen Hunt; Silent Motive, with Patricia Wettig and Edward Asner; and Sins of the Mind, with Jill Clayburgh.
They are now developing two features, one to star Anne Heche.
